I appreciate your work on leadership as expressed in your video-blog. I find that many of your principles are widely applicable in settings other than the business world. For example, you latest post on intentions is true in the academic setting. I am generally transparent about my intentions with my college students. I want them to know why I structure courses and assignments the way I do. It allows me to get feedback and enter into conversations with students about not only the material, but also the process of learning.

Thanks very much gents. This is a great reminder of our need to be open to — and even seek out — feedback about blind-spots we don’t see in ourselves, but those around us do see.
