Dan Burkholder is a member of North Group’s consulting team, bringing over a decade of experience in the consulting field, specializing in organizational and leadership development.
Dan earned a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Both personally and professionally, he is passionate about hearing people’s stories and working with them to craft plans that leave a lasting legacy. It is in helping people establish their “Why” – from which the “Hows” and “Whats” of life are created – that Dan feels most fulfilled.
In his spare time, you can find Dan with his extended family or friends, playing music, spending time outside grilling, swimming, and playing lawn games, or enjoying a good film. He also has a deep love for wrestling – a sport in which he grew up and continues to follow today.
Dan and his wife, Abby, live in Lititz with their children, Cora and Judah, and two dogs, Izzy and Ollie. They all love enjoying everything Lititz has to offer!
People I most admire:
My parents and in-laws. As we continue through our own parenting experience, I increasingly appreciate and admire all they gave of themselves and poured into their children.
Bar Harbor, Maine (2013) for our “baby-moon”! We had an awesome time exploring Acadia National Park and Mt. Katahdin. Abby hiked all the way to the top when she was 14 weeks pregnant – what a woman!
“Act As If” – Engage in stretching yourself and strengthening the behaviors necessary for the next desired phase of life, essentially “acting as if” you are already there. In doing this, those necessary successful behaviors won’t be a surprise when you get there!
