Dennis has been a business partner with Roger since 2003. While officially retired, Dennis continues to provide select services for the firm. Working with family-owned businesses and assisting companies to successfully transition leadership responsibilities are two areas of service Dennis particularly enjoys. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Mennonite University and a master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dennis currently serves on the Board at Landis Communities.
He and his wife, Fern, have two grown daughters and four grandchildren that have completely captured their hearts. The couple’s annual highlight is vacationing at their villa in Hilton Head.

Most embarrassing moment:
I tried to slyly take a picture of professional golfer, Jim Furyk, with my iPhone when he was chipping onto the green at hole #4 at the Harbour Town Golf Course during the 2014 RBC Heritage Golf Tournament. Thinking my phone was silenced, I snapped the picture only to have it emit a loud “click.” Jim backed off and gave me the evil eye. Fortunately for me, he chipped the ball in the hole for a birdie. I think maybe I helped get him focused.
